Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet with US President Barack Obama next month. Singh is set to visit the White House on September 27. The White House said that the two sides will discuss India\'s role in the regional security and ways of cooperation in the areas of trade, development and investment. Singh\'s visit was announced after a meeting between the US National Security Advisor Susan Rice and her Indian counterpart Shivshankar Menon in Washington, where they discussed the economic and trade relations between the two countries, as well as security  cooperation, energy issues and means to support stability in Afghanistan.
