Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr paid a visit to the Saudi German Hospital in Cairo, which is owned by Batterjee group.
Nasr conferred with vice president of Batterjee group Makarem Batterjee on the volume of the group’s investments in Egypt.
Batterjee said that the group is currently building a medical city in Alexandria including eight hospitals worth EGP 10 billion in investments.
The group also aims at building 12 hospitals in all the Egyptian governorates and non-profit hospitals within the framework of the social role of the group, said he.
Nasr lauded the Saudi investments in Egypt, urging the group to build non-profit hospitals in the needy places in Upper Egypt.
The state aims at investing in humans via improving education and health, Nasr said.
Nasr said that it is important to set the atmosphere for investments.
