Prime minister Haidar al-Abadi

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi held a meeting here Wednesday with the ambassadors of Arab countries and heads of diplomatic missions in China.

During the meeting, he reviewed with the Arab diplomats the aim behind his visit to China and Arab-Chinese relations as well as the Iraqi war against Daesh.

Al Abadi said Iraqi security forces are advancing towards Ramadi city.

He also asserted that the Iraqi government is working on meeting Iraqi citizens' demands via providing services and investment opportunities especially in safe areas and governorates as it seeks to attract more foreign investments.

Furthermore, he highlighted the ongoing reforms introduced by the Iraqi government.

The Iraqi Premier called for uniting efforts in the face of terror threatening all.

The meeting touched on the Iraqi measures to face the recent Turkish violation of Iraq's sovereignty and territorial integrity, referring to the supportive international position in that regard.

He urged Arab states to adopt a unified stance towards Iraq, adding that Iraq is keen on maintaining good-neighborly relations.
