Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni arrived here on Sunday to take part in a three-way foreign ministerial meeting with his Egyptian and Algerian counterparts to discuss the latest developments in Libya.

The meeting comes as part of continued consultations among Egypt, Algeria and Italy since the meeting held in Rome a few weeks ago.

Shoukry is expected to brief his two counterparts on the outcome of the Libyan tribes forum that was recently held in Cairo.

The Italian top diplomat will discuss with his Egyptian counterpart issues of common concern and bilateral relations.
