Jordanian King condoles Egyptian president over death of security personnel

King Abdullah II of Jordan sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Saturday over the death of security personnel, who were killed in Friday's shoot-out with armed terrorists in Giza, southwest Cairo, and which also claimed the lives of dozens of innocent victims.

The Jordan News Agency, Petra, quoted King Abdullah as voicing strong condemnation of the "cowardly act implemented by evil groups", stressing Jordan's full solidarity and support with Egypt in its fight against terrorism.

The Jordanian King, in his message, expressed his sincere condolences to the Egyptian President and families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
