Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt Salem Ghassab Al Zamanan hailed the prominent role played by Egypt at the Arab, Islamic and international levels.
The Kuwaiti Ambassador also asserted the Egyptian-Kuwaiti deeply-rooted relations and fruitful cooperation in all domains.
In a statement Friday following the inauguration of a new mosque, he added that Kuwait is keen to participate in development projects in Egypt via cooperation between the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf, Al Azhar as well as Kuwait's Zakat House.
The mosque, financed by the Zakat House, was inaugurated by Beheira Governor Mohamed Sultan along with the Kuwaiti Ambassador and the Deputy Director of Kuwait's Zakat House.
For his part, Sultan lauded Kuwait's role in carrying out many charitable and service projects in Egypt.
As a sign of appreciation, he awarded Kuwait's Ambassador as well as the Deputy Director of Kuwait's Zakat House the governorate's honor shield.
