Fayez Saraj, designated Prime Minister of the Transition Government in Libya, arrived in Cairo late on Saturday.

He is expected to meet with a number of Egyptian officials to discuss developments in Libya.

In October, UN envoy for Libya announced a national unity government in Libya after months of difficult talks between the Arab country's two rival governments.
