H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, today attended the graduation ceremony of the fourth class of the Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government, MBRSG, a research and teaching institution that specialises in public policy in the Arab world, at the Conference Hall of the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The graduation ceremony was attended by 177 students from the MBRSG, 25 Masters students of Public Policy and 152 graduates of its executive education programmes, which include the "Leaders Programme," the "Leaders of Tomorrow Programme," the "Flying Hawks Programme," the "Ajman Leaders Programme" and the "Future Journey Programme."
Hamid Mohammed Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the MBRSG, said, in his opening speech, that the graduation of the students reflects the philosophy of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and his vision on the principles of leadership, institutional management and the fundamentals of success and leadership, which are all the values emphasised by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid in many local and international events, to become deeply rooted in the minds of decision-makers.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed honoured the graduates and praised the efforts of the school in educating and providing the nation with ambitious and aspiring students while wishing them further success, to reach their full potential and serve their country and society.
Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, Chief Executive Officer of the MBRSG, stated that since its establishment in 2005, the school has played a vital role in implementing the vision of the wise leadership to create a pioneering scientific establishment and specialist academic research institution in the Arab world, to realise the nation’s vision and the agenda of the UAE Vision 2021.
