Moroccan Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar starts on Wednesday a two-day working visit to Russia, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement today.
During the visit, the Russian Foreign Sergei Lavrov will meet his Moroccan counterpart to discuss the situation in North Africa and the Middle East, especially in Syria and Iraq.
The Russian Foreign Ministry expressed confidence that Mezouar’s upcoming visit to Russia will be a further impetus to the development of the bilateral partnership and political dialogue with Morocco.
