Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, yesterday attended a reception hosted by Hassan Yousef Saad, Ambassador of Lebanon, on the occasion of his country's Independence Day.

The ceremony was attended by Shakbout bin Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Mohammed Ali Omran Al Shamsi, Director of Diplomats Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, along with a number of officials, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the state, and members of the Lebanese community in the country.

In a speech during the ceremony, Mr. Saad commended the continuous support and the humanitarian aid provided by the UAE as per the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, to Lebanon and its people.
