International Cooperation and Investment Minister Sahr Nasr will lead her country's delegation to the spring meetings of the World Bank in Washington on April 20-23.
In statements, Nasr said meetings with the bank will focus on boosting investments in Egypt and the WB portfolio in Egypt that includes eight-billion-dollar cooperation projects to be financed by the WB (6 billion dollars) and the International Finance Corporation (2 billion dollars).
She added that she will meet with a number of officials of financing foundations, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to follow up the outcome of the latest visit of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's to Washington.
Nasr will also review the Egyptian government's priorities and progress realized so far as regards the implementation of major development projects.
