U.S. President Barack Obama will visit Japan from April 23 to 25, several Japanese government sources said Thursday. Japan's Foreign Ministry suggested earlier this month that the visiting president's stay would likely be from April 24 to 25. While Washington later accepted the recommendation of a three-day visit by Tokyo, said the sources, adding the schedule of the president's trip will be officially announced soon. The trip is part of a four-nation Asian tour by Obama that will also take him to South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines.
