Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has met in the Belgian capital, Brussels, with the High Commissioner of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy Federica Mogherini.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the region and Palestine's relations with the European Union.

President Abbas pointed to the continued Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the settlers' attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque.
