Baghdad - Arab Today
Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tarek el Molla arrived in Baghdad on Saturday coming from Jordan's capital, Amman, for talks with his Iraqi counterpart.
Molla - currently on a two-day visit to Iraq - and Iraqi Minister of Oil Jabbar al Luaibi will hold a press conference on Sunday.
In statements to MENA correspondent in Iraq after receiving Molla at the airport, Egypt's Ambassador to Iraq Ahmed Darwish said an Egyptian delegation - comprising the deputy head of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) and the first undersecretary of Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum - arrived in Baghdad earlier Saturday.
Last January, CEO of the EGPC Mohamed el Masri paid a three-day a visit to Iraq in which he held talks with Iraqi officials on boosting cooperation between Cairo and Baghdad in the fields of oil and gas industries, exports and refining.
