Pope Tawadros II on Sunday attended celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Syriac Monastery Bishop Anba Metaos's monastic.
During the celebration, the pope gave Anba Metaos a wooden cross and a commemorative plaque.
A number of the Egyptian churches' leaders took part in the celebrations.
