Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese arrived in Minya Sunday on a three-day visit.
He will lead a memorial mass for the Egyptians beheaded in Libya. The
families of the martyrs will attend the mass and will meet the pope later at the Minya patriarchate.
He will also inaugurate a church and a number of projects there including a hospital and a school during the visit.
