Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese is to lead on Thursday a meeting of members of Egypt's Holy Synod.
The meeting will discuss several reports on the church.
Since Monday, committees of the synod have been holding meetings to pave the way for the Thursday meeting.
