President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, will address next Monday the opening of the eighth session of the National Legislature to review the general state’s policies for the coming stage.

A meeting of the National Assembly’s leadership Tuesday affirmed the start of the National Legislature’s session on October 1st and approved the session’s timetable.

He said that the program of the Legislature in the second week includes a report on its activities during the recess, statement of the Minister of Finance on his plan for enhancing the economic situation, reducing the inflation, ending the deterioration in the exchange rate, providing petroleum materials and enhancing the citizens’ living conditions, statement of the Foreign Ministry on the foreign policy developments, statement of the Ministry of Interior on the security situation in the country, besides statements of other ministries on their performance in the year 2018 and their plans and performance in the first quarter of the year 2019.
