President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived on Wednesday for a two-day visit to the UAE.
He was received at the Presidential Airport by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
President El Sisi was given an official reception, where the national anthems of both countries were played, followed by a 21-gun salute in honour of the guest.
The Egyptian President then shook hands with the Sheikhs and senior officials, while Sheikh Mohamed greeted the Egyptian officials accompanying El Sisi.
The Egyptian President is accompanied by Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Housing and several senior officials.
