The emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left India Wednesday evening after a two-day visit, ending an Asian tour that included Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
HH the Emir was seen off upon departure at Palam Military Base airport by India's Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Singh and a number of senior officials besides HE Qatar's Ambassador to India Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Abdullah and the Indian Ambassador to Qatar Sanjeev Arora.
A high-level official delegation accompanied HH the Emir in the visit.
HH the Emir sent cables to HE India's President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, expressing appreciation for the warm reception and hospitality accorded to His highness during the visit which contributed to exchanging views on issues of common concern, promoting the historical cooperation relations and continuing developing and supporting these relations to serve the best interests of both nations, wishing them good health and happiness, and the Indian people further progress and prosperity.
