The recommendations of the Asia - Pacific Giftedness 2012 conference which concluded Wednesday stress on the fact that partnership is and cooperation are the foundation for work and achievements and that initiatives and integration of roles yield more than expected from joint projects as we live a global villages, said Minister of Education Humaid Mohammed Al-Qattami. The minister, in closing remarks, commended the 12th edition of Asia - Pacific Giftedness 2012 conference (APCG) as one of the world's foremost scientific forums bringing together the brightest minds from across the globe with their educators, parents, administrators and professors. Al-Qattami, who was the chairman of the conference expressed thanks for H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of finance for patronizing the 5-day event in Dubai as part of his international educational initiatives. The event which is part of a global academic initiative focusing on education and developing the capabilities of gifted children was held from July 14 thru 18 at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, under the theme ?Nurturing talent, growing potential. More than 2000 delegates from around the world attended the event. With the participation of World, regional and local educational experts, opened Asia - Pacific Giftedness 2012. The conference, which runs from July 14th to July 18th is yet the biggest congregation of education Ministers and officials from Arabic. Gulf and Asian countries.
