Viktor Ozerov

Chairman of Russian Upper House Defense and Security Committee Viktor Ozerov has announced that Russian law enforcement and security services are ready to assist their counterparts in the United Kingdom in investigating the deadly attack in Manchester.

"We have repeatedly said, although the UK was the first country that refused to cooperate with us through special services, that we are ready to share information we have. And now, of course, as well," Ozerov told (Sputnik) Tuesday, describing the attack as a terrorist incident.

The blast took place at a concert in Manchester on Monday, killing 22 people and injuring 59 others. The British authorities declared a state of emergency and said that the bombing may be a suicide attack.
