Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will pay an official visit to China from March 13 to 16, the official Xinhua News Agency reported Monday.Prince Salman, who is also the deputy premier and minister of defense, will make the trip at the invitation of Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a news briefing in Beijing.During his meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal in Riyadh in December, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China is ready to take part in Saudi Arabia's strategy for economic diversification and deepen cooperation with the Gulf Arab nation in various fields, according to Xinhua.Wang said his country is willing to maintain momentum of high-level exchanges with Saudi Arabia, deepen mutually-beneficial cooperation in such traditional areas as energy, trade and economy, and broaden cooperation in the new fields of nuclear energy and aerospace.
