Calls for joint initiatives by departments. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, on Sunday held a meeting with a number of directors of departments and local institutions at his majlis at the Nad Al Sheba district in Dubai. Present were Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Mohammed Ali Alabbar, Chairman, Emaar Properties, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai Naturalisation and Residence, Qadhi Saeed Al Murooshid, Director General of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Khalid Ahmed bin Sulayem, Director General, Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. Sheikh Hamdan discussed Dubai Health Authority\'s (DHA) new initiatives regarding medical tourism in the emirate. He was briefed on the main features of the initiative which are aimed at boosting the international status of Dubai as a favorite international hub for medical tourism through concerted efforts of the concerned departments and their private sectors\' counterparts to introduce integrated and unique model as well as presenting excellent and distinguished services systems in the emirate. Sheikh Hamdan also underlined the importance of launching new initiatives of joint services between DHA, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Department of Naturalization and Residency Dubai (DNRD) and stakeholders to ensure the targeted national goals.
