HH Heir Apparent and the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the 7th batch of Ahmed bin Mohammad Military College, held at the college campus on Tuesday morning. The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, high-ranking officers of the Armed Forces and the Interior Ministry, as well as several leaders of the military colleges of brotherly countries. On the arrival of HH the Heir Apparent at the platform, the musical band played the Qatari National Anthem, then he inspected the graduates queue. The celebration started with a recitation from the holy Qur'an. Then, the Commander of the College Brigadier Hamad Ahmed Ali Al-Noaimi gave a speech in which he underlined that the college is in steady pace towards achieving the vision of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to make Ahmed bin Mohammad Military College one of the best academic military collages. He noted that Ahmed bin Mohammad Military College has been keenness to improve and develop the curriculums continuously in order to be able to meet the challenges of present and future. Al-Noaimi highlighted the HH the Heir Apparent unlimited support and continuing follow-up to overcome all difficulties and achieve the desired goals. He noted that the batch this year is distinguished as it includes officer candidates from neighboring countries, and it is the first batch to include a number of graduates selected by their original units - Emiri Guards and the Interior Security Forces (Lakhwiya). The 7th batch of the graduates have bachelor degrees in academic disciplines and diploma in military science and police sciences, 29 of them are candidates from the Armed Forces, 32 candidates from the Interior Ministry, 8 candidates from the Emiri Guard, and 13 candidates from Lakhwiya, in addition to 3 candidates from the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of the Comoros, Al-Noaimi explained. After that, HH the Heir Apparent honored the outstanding graduates of the batch.
