President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will be on a one-day visit to Kenya Saturday for talks on means of boosting bilateral relations.
The visit reflects Egypt's keenness on communicating and coordinating with African countries, said presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef.
During the visit, Sisi will hold talks with his Kenyan counterpart Uhuru Kenyatta on enhancing trade exchange between the two countries, Youssef said.
The talks will also tackle the latest developments in the Horn of Africa and Great Lakes regions, he noted.
The two leaders will also probe efforts to upgrade cooperation among Nile Basin countries, the spokesman added.
Cooperation to counter terrorism will as well be discussed, Youssef said.
The two presidents are set to hold a joint press conference after the end of the talks, he noted.
