Somalia's Prime Minister Hassan Ali Khairi has highly commended the UAE humanitarian and developmental support for his country and its significant contributions to assuaging the suffering of Somali people.

This came during the premier's meeting today with the UAE Ambassador to Somalia Mohammed Ahmed Othman Al Hammadi, where the two sides discussed ways of furthering bilateral relations and opening up fresh channels of collaboration.

The UAE ambassador expressed appreciation of the Somali prime minister's efforts to foster ties between the two countries.
