South Sinai Governor Khaled Fouda reviewed with hotel directors the security mechanism ahead of the tourism season in October.
During the meeting, Fouda highlighted the non-stop development of the security mechanism, noting that such mechanism cannot be comprehensive without people's contribution.
He said "our main goal is safeguarding tourists from the moment of their arrival in Egypt until their departure."
South Sinai Security chief Ahmed Tayel attended the meeting along with the governorate's secretary and security leaderships.
