The Sudanese Foreign Ministry issued Monday a statement on severing diplomatic relations with Iran in solidarity with Saudi Arabia against the Iranian schemes.

The statement linked the severing of ties to the attacks carried out against the Saudi Embassy in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad.

The Iranian aggression on the Saudi diplomatic missions is a flagrant violation of the international laws and conventions, the statement noted.
