Tajik Ambassador to Egypt Khusrav Noziri said that he took part in the second international conference under the rubric the "Contributions of Transoxiana in Enriching the Islamic Civilization” Conference," which was held in Alexandria. 

In exclusive statements to MENA, Noziri said that the conference reflected Egypt's historic role in cultural exchange with Khorasan and Transoxania. 

The conference played a crucial role in establishing and promoting cooperation ties between scientific institutions in Egypt and their counterparts in Central Asian states, including Tajikistan, he added.
