Egyptian Transport Minister Saad el Giyoushy on Friday paid a visit to London's tunnels.

He also met with officials at the Tunneling and Underground Construction Academy in London to discuss how Egypt can benefit from their experience.

Egypt does not have specialists in tunnel construction despite the number of tunnels constructed in the country, said spokesman for the ministry Ahmed Ibrahim.

Giyoushy arrived in London on Tuesday on an official visit for talks on boosting bilateral cooperation in the transport sector and developing legislation related to the railway transport mechanism.
