Turkish President Abdullah Gul will pay a three-day official visit to Austria next May 2 at the invitation of his Austrian counterpart Heinz Fisher.


Gul has been the first Turkish President to visit Austria in 13 years.

According to the Turkish TRT Channel, Gul will hold a number of official meetings on bilateral relations, cooperation and Turkish membership in the European Union.

He will also take part in the Turkish-Austrian Business Forum.
