Ugandan Water and Environment Minister Ephraim Kamuntu arrived here on Sunday to attend the sixth session of the African Ministerial Conference on the Environment (AMCEN). 

The conference will discuss a number of important issues, including the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. 

It will also tackle the latest developments related to the initiatives of renewable energy and adaptation.

Environment ministers from 54 African countries along with representatives of 50 UN agencies will attend the conference.
