The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived in New Delhi on a three-day official visit to India.

He held a meeting with Indian Minister of Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nazi Azad and Secretary General of the Red Cross Society Dr. Satya Paul Agarwal.

The visit is part of coordinated efforts between the UN and India regarding regional and international issues of common interest.
