US Deputy Secretary of State Wiliam Burns arrived here on Monday for a several days’visit to Jordan for talks with a number of Jordanian officials.According to a press release issued here today, Burns’ talks will touch on bilateral relations, the current situation in the region with a special emphasis on the Syrian dossier and the repercussions of the Syrian crisis on Jordan in addition to the US -brokered Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations.It is noted that Jordan now hosts more than a half million Syrian refugees since the crisis outbreak almost three years ago.
