The Saudi health ministry on Saturday said that a person has died of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-Cov), known as corona virus.
The death was reported in Riyadh, said the ministry in a statement.
The ministry added that two new cases of corona virus were also detected.
According to the ministry, the number of infections rose to 945 people, including 414 deaths.
The ministry said that 514 cases were discharged from hospitals, while 24 others were still receiving treatment.
