The Saudi Health Ministry said Sunday one person has died of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-Cov), known as corona virus.

The death was reported in Riyadh, said the ministry in a statement.

According to the ministry, the number of people who died of the virus in Saudi Arabia rose to 534 deaths.

Four cases were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people who recovered to 682 cases, the ministry said, noting that 34 cases are still receiving treatment.
