An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Chagos Archipelago region at 20:13 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 27.62 km, was initially determined to be at 5.1006 degrees south latitude and 68.5214 degrees east longtitude.
