The Saudi Health Ministry reported Friday eight new cases of coronavirus and confirmed the death of a ninth.
In a statement, the ministry said one case was treated and discharged from hospital.
The number of cases infected with the virus hit 877, including 370 deaths, the ministry said.
The ministry said 482 cases have been discharged from hospitals, while 25 others are still under treatment.
The disease first appeared in the kingdom in 2012.
