Dr. Mohamed Saleem Al Olama, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health, accompanied by Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Assistant Under-Secretary for Hospitals Sector, has visited a number of hospitals and health centres including: Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital, Dibba Al Hosn Health Center and Al Dhaid Health Center. Received by Abdulla Salem Al Kaabi, Managing Director-General of Dibba Al Fujairah Hospital, Dr. Al Olama viewed the scope of work at the hospital as well as the services provided to both visitors and patients. He also listened to complaints and remarks of the employees and addressed the solving of the problems in a short period of time. Dr. Al Olama also listened to medical and technical staff about their future aspirations and needs and asked them to continue in their efficiency to maintain global performance rates. He also visited the x-ray department and recommended an update for all the equipment of the department. Dr. Al Olama said, "The Ministry of Health continues its efforts to improve Dibba Fujairah Hospital and provide more consultants, doctors and administrative staff. He also called for providing the required medical equipment and therapeutic treatment for all U.A.E. nationals and residents in Dibba city and remote areas." Additionally, Dr. Al Olama visited Dibba Health Centre and reviewed the scope of work in the laboratories department. He also called for the provision of the required equipment, specialised doctors and nursing staff to fulfil the needs of both visitors and patients. Dr. Al Olama lauded the activities of the centre and its role in providing diverse health services for the area's residents, reassuring all that the needs of medical districts will be studied thoroughly and their requirements will be implemented to provide the best healthcare services. The Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Health then visited Al Dhaid Health Centre where he viewed the scope of work and re-viewed the e-Dirham service. He also listened to the requests of staff members. He promised that their demands will be examined by a specialised committee in the Ministry.
