Arab health ministers

Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, Director-General of the Executive Board of the GCC Health Ministers Council, said on Sunday that the Second Arab Conference on Food and Drugs, now held in Sharm el Sheikh, recommended establishing two bodies for food and drugs to serve the Arab region.

"The conference called also for making use of the Jordanian and Saudi experiences in this domain," Khoja said in statements to MENA.

He added that the three-day conference, which is held under the auspices of Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab, is attended by 50 participants from 25 Arab and foreign countries.

Khoja underlined that the conference will come up with 25 other recommendations on food and drugs.
