Beheira Governor Mohamed Soltan is scheduled Sunday to deliver Sovaldi drugs for needy Hepatitis C patients.

Sovaldi doses were provided by the governorate's drugs support fund for free.

An initiative was launched to announce Beheira free of Hepatitis C in 2018.

Egypt has one of the highest prevalence of the Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in the world, according to the World Health Organization.
