The construction works of six new teaching hospitals will be launched in July, announced Wednesday in Tipasa (70-km west of Algiers) Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Abdelmalek Boudiaf. "The construction works of teaching hospitals in Batna, Annaba, Bejaia, Sidi Bel Abbes, Bechar and Ouargla will be launched next July," Boudiaf told APS on the sidelines of an inspection and working visit to the province. He underlined that the building of the new hospitals is part of the Government's policy aiming at improving the healthcare services provided to the patients in different provinces of the country. Other similar projects will be launched in the provinces of Tipasa, Constantine, Tlemcen and Algiers, the minister said. Boudiaf started his working visit at Sidi Ghiles, where he inaugurated two departments of oncology and haemodialysis at the city's hospital.
