Two patients suffering from the so called "swine flu" (H1N1) have been admitted to a private hospital in Cyprus, the Ministry of Health has said, assuring there is no cause for alarm. Cyprus News Agency quoted an official press release as saying on Monday that the flu the two patients are infected with is the H1N1 virus of the 2009 pandemic. The situation is being monitored closely and there is no reason for alarm, the ministry said. It is further noted that both cases are of the seasonal influenza virus type which is also circulating in the rest of Europe.
