A dubious object found at a hospital in Menofia Governorate on Tuesday sparked panic among patients, prompting the administration to summon the security forces.
Bomb disposal experts are currently dealing with the suspicious object after cordoning off the hospital.
The patients have been transferred to a nearby hospital until the situation is cleared, a heath official said.
