A child died on Wednesday of bird flu in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Aswan, said the health ministry in a statement.
With the recent death, the number of Egyptians have died from the virus reached 10 across the nation since 2014, according to the ministry.
As many as 22 cases, including 8 recovered patients, have been reported in Egypt during 2014, the statement said.
