The Health Ministry launched on Sunday a campaign to vaccinate children against polio.

The two-stage campaign targets 14.8 million children under 5 years.

A statement by the US Embassy in Cairo said the US Agency for International Development is the main supporter for this national campaign, which targets eliminating polio.
