Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Monday inspected the cardiac catheterization unit in Assiut General Hospital.

The establishment of the new unit cost 12 million pounds and includes 242 beds.

The unit provides a number of services to patients including, diagnosis of coronary artery diseases, the diagnosis of congenital defects in the heart, said Health Minister Adel Adway.
