Health Minister Adel Adawi toured on Tuesday Mersa Matrouh's hospitals and health facilities that are serving injured people who fled the armed clashes in Libya.
The tour was part of a visit to the border area made by Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab along with a group of ministers.
Adawi also inspected emergency medical clinics deployed near the border.
During the past week, about 186 patients were moved to hospitals after crossing the border, the minister said.
