The Ministry of Health and Population revealed on Sunday four new bird flu cases in the past hours.
In a statement, the ministry said the affected persons are a man from Sohag, Upper Egypt, two children from Alexandria and Giza and a woman from Cairo.
The ministry appealed to the citizens who contact poultry to head for the nearest hospital to have medical check-ups.
